PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test plug which can eliminate the need to perform preparatory work such as the winding of a sealing member such as sealing tape around a screw part prior to performing a test in order to prevent a pressure leakage, can be used repeatedly, and has a simple structure. SOLUTION: The test plug 1 is a detachable test plug to temporarily block instrument mounting end parts 3, 4 of a pipe by being fixed thereto through screwing and is provided with a plug main body 110 formed of elastically deformable synthetic resin. The plug main body 110 comprises a tip part 111 and a screw part 112 which is formed adjacent to the tip part 111 and closer to a base and which is formed with a male screw part on its periphery which is threadedly engaged with insert female screw parts 34, 44 of the instrument mounting end parts 3, 4. The tip part 111 comprises a periphery formed in nearly a cylindrical shape, a tapered face 111a formed adjacent to the periphery, and an end face formed adjacent to the tapered face.
