The unit (10) has a circular polarizer (12) and the light partially reflects a predetermined circular polarizer. The circular polarizer is provided in a partial area with a light scattering diffuser (40). The diffuser is formed by a scattering layer imprinted on the circular polarizer. The diffuser is formed by an opaque white layer. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for manufacturing of testing unit and (2) testing device for checking authencity of useful documents.
