METHOD OF PROVIDING MULTI CAST SERVICE BY NETWORK SIDE IN WiMAX MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method of providing establishment and releasement of multi cast service by network side in WiMAX mobile communication system is disclosed in the present invention. The method of providing establishment includes the following steps: the mobile station acquires the IP address of multi cast controller and acquires the multi cast conversation information from the multi cast controller; the multi cast controller transmits the multi cast conversation information to the multi cast server; the multi cast server transmits the multi cast conversation information to the main BSC/PCF in the multi cast service zone; then allocates the wireless resource for the mobile station of the main BSC/PCF and slave BSC/PCF; transmits media flow to mobile station through multi cast context server, multi cast server, main BSC/PCF and slave BSC/PCF when providing multi cast service. The present invention could enable MSS acquire multi cast service for the multi cast service of WiMAX and support macro-diversity application by dividing into a main BS and a slave BS in a MBS zone, the present invention could share the channel of radio side and network side better and save the resource.
