PURPOSE: A cold rolled steel sheet for direct-on enamel applications with excellent adherence over wide range of pH conditions is provided. CONSTITUTION: The cold rolled steel sheet for direct-on enamel applications comprises C 0.005 wt.% or less, Mn 0.05-0.3 wt.%, S 0.02 wt.% or less, P 0.02 wt.% or less, Al 0.01-0.1 wt.%, B 0.002-0.01 wt.%, N 0.004-0.015 wt.%, Ni0.02-0.08 wt.%, Co 0.02-0.08 wt.%, Nb 0.005-0.05 wt.%, a balance of Fe and other inevitable impurities, wherein the atomic ratio of Nb/C is 0.5-2.5; 0.0005%<N-1.3B<0.01%.
