PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass board carrier box having a structure that hardly allows a positional shift of a support pad supporting the side end face of an erected glass board. SOLUTION: A plurality of glass boards for a flat panel display are arranged in rows in an almost erected and accommodated in the glass board carrier box. The carrier box includes a basic substance forming a bottom face, outer wall boards forming side faces, a lid forming a top face, and a plurality of support pads each having grooves for supporting glass boards. The support pads are placed on the bottom face and at side faces of the glass boards in the almost erected position. The carrier box also has a spacer placed between the support pad at the side face of each glass board and the outer wall board, and the spacer is composed of a square-pillar-shaped expandable member and a rigid member. The expandable member is in contact with the outer wall board and with the rigid member which is so constituted that the L-shaped short side of the rigid member is fixed to the basic substance forming the bottom face and that the rigid member is in contact with the support pad placed at the side face of the rigid member.
