PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio data disk player which can prevent unnecessary power consumption in consideration of compensation for vibrations by setting up a vibration compensation capacity matching the bit rate of the compressed music data. SOLUTION: This audio data disk player (Ar) detects the bit rate (BR) of the compressed audio data (DA) to decide the minimum vibration compensation capacity (Csp) to store the compressed audio data in the vibration compensation memory (6) based on the detected bit rate (BR). It stops to read the compressed audio data when the memory (6) stores the audio data (DA) up to the maximum capacity (Cmax) larger than the vibration compensation capacity(Csp), and reads the audio data (DA) from the memory (6) to process the sound. It starts again to read the compressed audio data (DA) when the audio data (DA) stored in the memory (6) decreases down to the vibration compensation capacity (Csp). COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
