PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of automatically controlling the lighting of a backlight or automatically controlling inputting at an operation input, even if a user does not operate the terminal. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal comprises a display unit 8, a backlight 9 at the display unit 8, a temperature sensor 11 of a first sensor detecting that a human body acts on the terminal, and a control unit 4 for controlling the lighting of the backlight 9 in response to the detection result of the temperature sensor 11.
