PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver by which a bus switch outside is eliminated and reliability of stop timing is secured. SOLUTION: In the television receiver having a second signal processing part having a second CPU and a first signal processing part having a first CPU to which voltage A is applied, the bus switch outside is eliminated by having a structure where a video signal output stop request signal is issued to the first CPU based on a fact that power of the second signal processing part is turned off, power is always supplied to the second CPU and the remote controller is turned off in terminating execution of a power off instruction or timer recording by the remote controller, a video signal is stopped based on the request signal and the voltage A of the first signal processing part is dropped after receiving result notification of the video signal output stop request signal from the first CPU and the reliability of the stop timing is further secured by communication.
