A compound eye camera module having a lens module (7) including lenses (1a, 1b), optical filters (2a, 2b) corresponding to the lenses (1a, 1b), respectively, an imaging element (4) including imaging regions (4a, 4b) corresponding to the optical filters (2a, 2b), respectively, and light shielding walls (61a-61d) upstanding on the imaging element (4). The adjacent imaging regions (4a, 4b) are partitioned by the light shielding wall (61a), and the light shielding wall (61a) includes slope surfaces (63) sloped relative to imaging surfaces of the imaging regions (4a, 4b). The slope surfaces (63) are sequentially arranged from the lens module (7) side to the imaging region (4a, 4b) side, and each slope surface (63) is sloped toward the imaging region (4a, 4b) side, in the direction away from the light shielding wall (61a).
