摘要 A multi-speed automatic transmission adapted for a motor vehicle is provided to reduce fuel consumption by performing a multi-speed shifting function. A first output shaft(12) is installed in parallel to an input shaft(10). A second output shaft(14) is installed in parallel to the input shaft and the first output shaft. A first driving gear and the first output shaft are formed with one body. A second driving gear and the second output shaft are formed with one body. An output gear(16) is meshed with the first and second driving gears. A first planetary gear group(22) includes a first sun gear(30), a first ring gear(32), a first pinion(34) meshed with the first ring gear and the first sun gear, and a first carrier(38) in order to convert the rotation number of the input shaft to the rotation number of the first driving gear. A second planetary gear group(24) includes a second sun gear(40), a second ring gear(42), a second pinion(44) meshed with the second ring gear and the second sun gear, and a second carrier(48) in order to convert the rotation number of the input shaft to the rotation number of the second driving gear. An intermediate gear(52) is disposed coaxially to the input shaft in order to connect the first sun gear with the second sun gear. The input shaft is connected through a pair of first gears to the first ring gear and is connected through a pair of second gears to the second ring gear. The first output shaft is connected to the first carrier. The second output shaft is connected to the second ring gear. The second carrier is fixed to a case. The first and second sun gears are connected through the pair of first gears to the input shaft and are fixed to the case. The first and second sun gears are connected through the intermediate gear to the input shaft.
