<p>Grease compositions, methods for using the grease compositions, additives for grease compositions, and equipment and vehicles containing the grease compositions for improved fretting wear performance. The grease composition includes a fully formulated grease base and an effective amount of a fretting wear reducing additive. The fretting wear reducing additive is a metal-free, oil soluble phosphorous-containing, sulfurized amine salt which is used in an amount sufficient to provide a fretting wear weight loss of less than about 20 milligrams.</p> |
