PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium tray which avoids increase of the number of component parts for use in recording data on a disk type medium, and costs of the same, and prevents loss of the tray, and to provide a recording device with the recording medium tray. SOLUTION: A stacker 132 detachably attachable to an ink-jet printer 100 has a structure that doubles as a tray for use in printing the disk medium. As a result, the single component part, i.e. the stacker, detachably attachable to the ink-jet printer 100, exerts a sheet type medium stacker function and a disk type medium tray function. Therefore increase of the number of component parts and the costs of the same is avoided, and loss of the recording medium tray is prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
