PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methacrylic polymerizable and curable composition having excellent solubility, suppressing the deposition of a dissolved material and holding uniformity even during preservation and to provide a method for producing a methacrylic polymerized and cured product with which the polymerized and cured product having excellent transparency without appearance defects can be obtained in good yield by using the composition and staining of a mold can be suppressed in polymerization with the mold to efficiently produce the methacrylic polymerized and cured product having excellent high-temperature mold release properties of the polymerized and cured product. SOLUTION: The methacrylic polymerizable and curable composition comprising 100 pts.mass of a monomer component containing 60-100 mass% of methyl methacrylate and 0-40 mass% of a monomer copolymerizable therewith, 0.005-0.5 pt.mass of a sulfosuccinic acid ester salt, 0.005-0.5 pt.mass of a specific phosphoric ester and at least one of a specified polyethylene glycol derivative and a specific compound in the total amount of 0.5-50 times of the sulfosuccinic acid ester salt is polymerized and cured in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator in the mold.
