PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quality management system for clinical examination, capable of maintaining and managing the correctness and accuracy of inspection results over a long period. SOLUTION: The quality management system for clinical examination that assures correctness (accuracy) of daily measurement values by use of a clinical examination quality management sample comprises (1) providing management software for internal quality management to participating facilities to the quality assurance system; (2) making each facility measure a designated quality management sample at daily examinations to execute quality management; (3) collecting the measurement value obtained in each facility to a data analysis department at fixed intervals by the use of a wide-area information transmission tool on a nationwide scale; (4) performing entire tabulation and categorical tabulation for the measured values from a plurality of such facilities in the data analysis department, to compile necessary statistics for quality assurance to facility internal fluctuations and inter-facility fluctuations; and (5) providing data from the data analysis department to the system participating facilities by utilizing the wide-area information transmitting tool.
