<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat-plate solid oxide fuel cell stack composed to avoid fuel shortage in a cell which reaches a high temperature during the operation time, and to provide its method for avoiding fuel shortage. <P>SOLUTION: The flat-plate solid oxide fuel cell stack includes many stacked flat-plate solid oxide fuel cells, and a fuel distribution mechanism for distributing fuels to each cell. A passage cross-sectional area of a fuel distribution path for a cell which reaches a high temperature during the operation time is different from that of a fuel distribution path for other cell placed at another position, thereby avoiding fuel shortage in a cell which reaches a high temperature due to nonuniformity in the temperature distribution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
