PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization apparatus for fluid with simple structure and high sterilization treatment effect and a sterilization method for fluid with high sterilization treatment effect. SOLUTION: The sterilization apparatus is provided with: a flow passage body 1 through which fluid passes; an ultrasonic transducer 2; and an ultrasonic reaction diffusion body 3, and the sterilization apparatus is characterized in that the ultrasonic transducer 2 is arranged in the flow passage body 1, and further, the ultrasonic reaction diffusion body 3 is arranged on the way to be irradiated with ultrasonic waves.
