<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic head driving device, whose performance is further improved, miniaturization is realized, and whose corrosion-resistant performance is improved. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of permanent magnets 22 are faced to each other on an inner surface of a faced pair of yoke parts 21a and 21b. An air core coil 27 is provided on one end of an arm part 26 slidably provided around a shaft 24, and a magnet head 28 is provided on the other part, so that the air core coil 27 is disposed between the pair of permanent magnets 22. The permanent magnets 22 are constituted by sintering a magnet material composed of nitride powders. This magnetic material has excellent magnetic characteristic and temperature characteristic, and corrosion-resistant performance.
