PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope cooler and an endoscope that collects foreign matter and illuminates with an auxiliary light source even at high temperatures and improves the efficiency of observation work. SOLUTION: The endoscope cooler 10 is equipped with an open tube passage 15 with its tip opened, an external sheath (sheath) 17 containing a tube passage with its tip closed, a fluid passage 18 for supplying cooling fluid to the tip-closed tube passage, and a sealer for preventing the cooling fluid flowing through the tip-closed tube passage from being discharged from its base end.
