The proposed moisture meter for wood contains a moisture detector, a resistance-to-voltage converter, a temperature compensation unit, a set of reference resistors, a switch, an indicator, and a battery power supply. As the resistance-to-voltage converter, a logarithmic amplifier is used. The temperature compensation unit contains a temperature-sensitive resistor and an adjusting resistor, which are connected in series. The output of the moisture detector and the reference resistors are connected to the input of the converter via the switch. The output of the converter is connected to the input of the indicator via the temperature compensation unit.
