A stretching pillar for a receiving shelf is provided to have excellent pressurizing and adhering power by the length adjustment, and to adjust the length thereof minutely in the state that the stretch pillar is installed between a ceiling and a bottom. A stretching pillar for a receiving shelf includes first and second pillar rods(10,20), an upper support rod(30), a length adjusting portion(40), a lower support and height adjusting portion, and a buffering portion(60). The length adjusting portion is fixed at the other end of the first support rod that is inserted into one end of the second support rod to adjust the lengths of the first and second pillar rods. The lower support and height adjusting portion supports stably the other end of the second pillar rod. The buffering portion makes the first and second pillar rods elastically supported by the lower support and height adjusting portion.
