<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a risk due to a leakage of a registered biological information. <P>SOLUTION: A biological collation system conducts a personal identification by collating a user based on a biological information. The biological collation system has a characteristic extracting means to extract a plurality of characteristic parts from the biological information acquired from the user, a reliability calculating means to calculate the reliability of the characteristic parts by each characteristic part, a biological information registering means to store the characteristic parts extracted from a plurality of storages and the biological information of the user in the storage by distributing them equally based on the reliability, and a biological information collating means to identify the characteristic part extracted from the biological information acquired from the user during the collation and the characteristic part stored in the storage based on a collation reference prescribed in advance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
