<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood component collecting apparatus capable of performing filtering operation again after the filtering operation is terminated and a storage bag is temporarily empty. <P>SOLUTION: The blood component collecting apparatus 1 is for separating blood into a plurality of blood components and collecting separated blood platelets and plasma. The blood component collecting apparatus 1 operates a second liquid feeding pump 12 after the filtering operation, and the platelet products (blood platelets) collected in a platelet collection bag 26 and plasma collected in a plasma collection bag 25 are fed to a filtering line 61. Then, air is removed from the whole filtering line 61, that is, air in the whole filtering line 61 is substituted for the liquid such as the platelet products and the plasma.
