ORGANIC/INORGANIC COMPOSITE MATERIAL, NONWOVEN FABRIC COMPOSED OF THE COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic/inorganic composite material supporting elementary metal fine particles containing a noble metal in a state uniformly and exclusively distributed on the outermost layer of the composite material and provide a method for easily producing the organic/inorganic composite material having the above structure. SOLUTION: The organic/inorganic composite material contains (A) at least one kind of organic polymer selected from polyamide, polyurethane and polyurea and (B) inorganic compound fine particles finely dispersed in the matrix of the organic polymer (A) and containing silicon oxide (silica) and/or aluminum oxide (alumina) having an average particle diameter of 1-300 nm and further contains (C) fine metal particles having an average particle diameter of 0.1-300 nm and a standard redox potential of≥-0.5 V in an aqueous solution at 25°C and supported on the surface of the inorganic compound fine particle (B).
