PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly sensitive photosensitive resin and photosensitive composition easily constructing a hydrophilic surface coating derived from a hydrophilic polyethylene glycol having high biocompatibility by optical cross-linking and to provide an optically cross-linked product.

SOLUTION: The photosensitive resin has a repeating unit represented by formula (1) (wherein, R1and R2are each independently a 2-5C alkylene group; and R3is a photosensitive group having an azide group) and a repeating unit represented by formula (2).
