PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the outflow of water in a pipe as much as possible when a sprinkler head is detached from a down pipe. SOLUTION: This down pipe branched form a water supply pipe for letting down a connecting part of a head to a disposition position of the sprinkler head 3, is provided with an opening/closing mechanism S comprising an approximately cylindrical abutment part 15 abutting on and being pushed up by the upper end of a nozzle part 27 of the head to be threaded into the connecting part, a valve element 11 interlocked with the abutment part 15 and opening/closing a valve seat part 19d formed in the pipe, and a water flow port 15a opened to the upper side of the abutment part 15 as a channel in the lower part the valve element 11, when the abutment part 15 pushes up the valve element 11.
