A system of searching a website by using special characters and a control method thereof are provided to improve the accuracy for a searching result by searching the special character in a combination of a single searching and a natural language. A searching system of a web site using a special character and a controlling method thereof comprise a special character searching tool(150a), a special character setting tool(150b), a DB conversion tool(150c), a screen display tool(170a) and a special character. The special character searching tool searches an input key word and the special character from a DB. The special character setting tool inputs the special character which is not provided from the special character searching tool. The DB conversion tool converts the searching word searched from the DB into the URL. The screen display tool displays an output screen at one side of an address window or a searching window in inputting the special character. The special character is composed of the key word of the large classification and the small classification.
