STYRENE-MODIFIED POLYOLEFIN RESIN PARTICLE, EXPANDABLE RESIN PARTICLE, PRE-EXPANSION PARTICLE AND FOAMED MOLDING

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a styrene-modified polyolefin resin particle yielding a foamed molding with improved physical properties such as fusion bonding rate, rigidity, impact resistance and chemical resistance. SOLUTION: The styrene-modified polyolefin resin particle contains 20-600 pts.wt. styrene resin against 100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin, wherein the polyolefin resin is an ethylene homopolymer or a copolymer of ethylene and an olefin having 3 or more carbons, has density of≥0.940 g/cm3, a shrinkage factor (g' value) of less than 1.0 but not less than 0.4 and a melt flow rate under a 2.16 kg load of 0.15-20 g/10 min and satisfies the relation: MS>110-100×log(MFR) (wherein MS is the melt tension (mN) at 160°C; and MFR is the melt flow rate).
