<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent for expanding organs which causes no drop in mechanical physical property, expansive holding force and X-ray impermeability even when the stent is made thinner. <P>SOLUTION: The stent is formed roughly into a tubular body has a diameter enough to be inserted invivo and is extensible when a force expanding radially from inside the tubular body is applied onto it. The stent is made of an alloy containing at least more than one noble metals selected from gold, white gold, silver and copper. The alloy has a density of 14 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or more, the yield strength of 300 MPa or more and the breaking elongation of 20% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
