PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine vessel capable of reducing the amount of ballast water in a light load operational state in the displacement type marine vessel sailing on the water. SOLUTION: In the displacement type marine vessel 1 sailing on the water, spoilers 11 to 16 for generating the force in the direction immersing a stern in sailing in the light load operational state is provided in the water or on the water, and the angle of the spoilers 11 to 16 relative to the hull 1b is constituted so as to be changed between the light load operational state and a full load operational state. The spoilers 11 to 16 is constituted by combining any one or some of a stem part spoiler 11, a hull central part spoiler 12, a stern part spoiler 13, a stern ship bottom part spoiler 14, a propeller wake flow part spoiler 15 and a water spoiler 16.
