PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out remote calibration and certification at the site of an institution to be calibrated or an industrial user, by remotely supplying a reference quantity for precision measurement. SOLUTION: Measurement standard quantity is converted into a parameter suitable for communication or it is generated as a parameter suitable for communication, and is sent to a remote site (2). Alternatively, it is sent to the remote site (2), in a form suitable for transportation and recovered into a measurement standard at the arrival site, if the communication is not applicable that makes calibration possible, and the result is certificated.
