PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector which can be assembled with a quick operation by using an optical fiber peeling and bending component from which good cut end parts of an optical fiber can be obtained and the coating of the optical fiber can be removed. SOLUTION: The optical fiber peeling and bending component comprises; a first member which includes a groove part capable of storing a coated optical fiber therein, an optical fiber cutting blade and a coating removing blade provided in the groove part, a bend part constituted of a coupling part, and a cavity part; and a second member made of a resin material, which includes a coating removing blade corresponding to the coating removing blade integrally provided in the groove part, a bend part which is provided in a middle part and corresponds to the bend part of the first member, and a cavity part corresponding to the cavity part of the first member. The optical fiber peeling and bending component is bent at a bending part to cut the optical fiber, and the optical fiber is separated in a state of having the coating removed, whereby an optical fiber component is formed. The optical fiber connector includes the optical fiber component and a ferrule which has a coating removed portion and a part of a coated portion of the optical fiber stored therein and is stored in the cavity part of the optical fiber component.
