<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tacking taping method and a winding method causing no partial increase of the pressure on a buffer mat, in the manufacture of an exhaust gas treatment apparatus by employing a sizing process. <P>SOLUTION: After sizing, both ends of the buffering mat and a fitting section are opposed to each other with a gap, and an adhesive tap is stuck circumferentially astride the gap to store an excess part in the gap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
