PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an MR head by reducing a regulated voltage range of the MR head as much as possible. SOLUTION: This magnetic reproduction circuit for using the MR head to reproduce data recorded in a magnetic recording medium is provided with a bias current supply circuit for supplying a bias current to the MR head, and a voltage regulation circuit for regulating voltage applied to the MR head into a predetermined range at supply start timing and supply stop timing of the bias current by the bias current supply circuit.
