PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism which solves the problem wherein the ink supplied to a recording head flows in an opposite direction of an ink discharged path upon circulation recovery, and dusts and air accumulated on a filter flow in the path upon circulation and return to a nozzle, so as to discharge the dusts in the recording head by circulation recovery and to prevent the dusts from returning to the nozzle upon image formation.
