The heat exchangers exchanges heat between a fluid having a strong temperature dependence of viscosity such as the coolant of an engine, and a second fluid flowing separately such as cabin air, or the oil of the engine or gearbox. The fluids flow through a variety of parallel channels. The liquid fluid having a strong temperature dependence of viscosity has two, three or more parallel flow channels and several merging parallel sub fluid flow channels. The feed flow and or the fluid loss of a group of parallel main fluid flow channels have a separate flow limitation fluid channel per main body. An independent claim is included for an oil coolant heat exchanger.
