PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker enabling to change an operation method from a handle type to a push-button type with almost no change in an opening/closing mechanism part. SOLUTION: The circuit breaker comprises the opening/closing mechanism or the like including an equipment body 1, a movable contact 31, a fixed contact 32, a turning member 5, link 6, a latch member 7, a cross bar 8, and an operation plate 10 or the like. When two regions formed by slopes to a mounting surface 4 of the circuit breaker including a rotation center 501 of the turning member 5 are a first region and a second region, a first operation member 21 and a second operation member 22 are turnably connected to the turning member 5 respectively in a first region and a second region.
