<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric/electrostrictive device which is improved in shock resistance property. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric/electrostrictive device includes a ceramic base 16 which is formed such that a pair of facing thin plate sections 12a and 12b and a fixation section 14 for supporting the thin plate sections 12a and 12b are integrally formed. In part of each of the pair of thin plate sections 12a and 12b, piezoelectric/electrostrictive elements 18a and 18b are formed, respectively. In a bonding part 202 wherein the thin plate sections 12a and 12b and movable sections 20a and 20b are bonded to each other, a curved section 210 is formed, while in a bonding section 204 wherein the thin plate sections 12a and 12b and the fixation section 14 are bonded to each other, a curved section 212 is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
