<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly start screen display in making a switch from image transfer using first communication to image transfer using second communication whose communication speed is slower than that of the first communication. <P>SOLUTION: This method as one aspect of the invention is a method to be executed by an image transmitter capable of executing the first communication and the second communication whose communication speed is slower than that of the first communication with a display device, and performs control so as to generate an image to be displayed on the display device, detects whether the first communication is executable, transmit the generated image to the display device by the first communication when the first communication is executable, transmit a compression image obtained by compressing the generated image to the display device by the second communication when the first communication is not executable, and transmit to the display device compression usage information necessary to display the compression image in the display device when the first communication is executable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
