A method for increasing protective and metabolic capacity of microbial populations of animal digestive tract on influence of toxic substances includes using natural sorbents (klinoptilolits or montmorilonits, or other sorbents with the same properties) in form of flour, mixing them with food means contaminated with toxicants, and feeding animals with prepared mixture during all the period of utilization of contaminated food. The granulated sugar is added to the flour of natural sorbents.
