A navigation terminal and a navigation method having a destination search function using a business card are provided to set a search database for only a user by managing business card information. A navigation terminal having a destination search function using a business card includes a scan unit(80), a letter recognizing unit(90), a storing unit(30) and a controller(10). The scan unit scans a business card and outputs image data of the business card. The letter recognizing unit performs a letter recognizing on the image data. The storing unit stores the image data. The controller generates business card data by analyzing the letter recognizing data, searches corresponding coordinates to the business card data from a map data database, stores the searched data by applying the business card data, and sets the searched coordinates as a destination position.
