An initial position recovery device for a digital camera is provided to reduce the consumption of a current for locating an image sensor in an initial posit for recovering the image sensor in the initial position to the image sensor installed to be capable of moving in a direction in which vibration is compensated, ion by supplying force and locating the image sensor in the initial position in normal times. The first plate spring(140) supported by a base(100) supplies force to be recovered to an initial position to a Y-axis stage(110). The second plate spring(180) supported by the base supplies the force to be recovered to the initial position to an X-axis stage(150). The first plate spring generates resistance force for a movement direction of the Y-axis stage.
