PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static electricity removing device which can prevent inexpensively, easily and effectively the situation wherein the dust adheres to a film with an adhesive agent by an electrostatic charge when peeling a separate paper. SOLUTION: In the static electricity removing device 1, two sponges 3 and 3 which function as a moisture keeping body are adhered in the inside surface of a support plate 2 of the shape of a long belt which can be doubled so as to face each other when a support plate 2 is made to be doubled. In addition, a male type fabric tape (face fastener) 9 and a female type fabric tape (face fastener) 10 which function as an engagement medium are respectively adhered on the outside of each sponge 3, 3 which is adhered to the inside surface of a support plate 2.
