摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens shift mechanism for a projection type display apparatus, the lens shift mechanism being excellent in operability and reliability such that a large amount of movement can be easily obtained despite a simple structure and displacement of a projection lens is prevented even if external force is applied to the main body of the apparatus or the projection lens. SOLUTION: A horizontal shift plate 20 can be slid in a horizontal direction by a base plate 13 and a horizontal shift shaft 41, which are fixed to a housing. Upon the rotation of a rotating disk 34, a projection 19 forming the follower node of a flat cam mechanism is horizontally driven along the sliding face of a groove structure formed on the underside of the rotating disk 34 forming the drive node of the flat cam mechanism. A horizontal shift knob 31 is moved upward by the reaction force of the coil spring 35. However, an amount of upward displacement is limited by a shift knob fixing washer 37. This structure presses the horizontal shift knob 31 against the underside of the upper face 11 of the housing.
