All the component parts of the heat transfer system (1) are made from sheet aluminium which where necessary has a soldered coating. Flat pipes (5) arranged between opposite collecting boxes (6, 7) are fixed by their ends in passages around openings (12) of two opposite pipe bases (13) which point in the direction of the opening flat pipes so that the latter do not project right into the inside (14) of the boxes. The pipe bases are each formed as a cohesive component holding the pipe ends of the flat pipes of all the heat transfer members. The pipe bases have an area for compensating thermal tensions and this area (B) forms the supporting connection between the heat transfer members (2, 3, 4) and has a number of openings with interposed webs (20). |
