摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the wall thickness of a tubular material, even when there is run-out of the tubular material, while preventing the constitution of an apparatus from becoming complex and preventing a degradation of measurement accuracy in thick-walled tubes. SOLUTION: When a run-out computing part 21a receives measured values by detectors 16a and 16b from the detectors 16a and 16b, the run-out computing part 21a computes the amount of run-out of the tubular material 1, by determining a ration of the measurement values and reading the amount of run-out S corresponding to the ratio of the measured values from calibration data. A wall-thickness computing part 21c computes the wall thickness T of the tubular material 1, by determining the transmission lengths of radiation beams B1 and B2, at a location at which the amount of run-out S of the tubular material 1 is zero, on the basis of the amount of run-out S of the tubular material 1 computed at the run-out computing part 21a and reading the wall thickness T of the tubular material 1 corresponding to the transmission lengths of the radiation beams B1 and B2 from conversion data.
