The device has pressing means, shifted by one or more active springs, by combination of a group of a spring material and one or more piezo actuators. The pressing means is formed by an active spring toward the conveyance or away from this by the piezo actuator as a component of the active spring. The sheet is isolated from the upper side of the sheet stack by a separation system and a conveyer system and conveyed marked by a pressing means, which has a press roll or a down holder plate. An independent claim is also included for a control device for the sheet supply of a sheet stack in a feeder.
