Pharmaceutical formulations of modafinil in solid dosage forms

A solid unit dose such as a tablet or a capsule consisting essentially of about 250 to about 450 mg of solid modafinil which has beneficial neurological response with respect to the treatment of ADHD is disclosed. The compositions of these solid unit doses may also include one or more excipients such as diluents, disintegrants, binders and lubricants.
