A method and a system for guiding a route in navigation are provided to help a driver take an accurate route to a destination during short time on driving by distinguishing adjacent routes. A method for guiding a route in navigation includes the steps of obtaining a first route(471) from a departure point to a destination, obtaining a first entrance point(420) from a first road(440) to a second road(450) on the first route, obtaining a second route(472) from the first road to a third road at a second entrance point(430) when the second entrance point is within a predetermined distance from the first entrance point, guiding the obtained first route, and comparing the first route with the second route when guiding a route at the first entrance point.
