PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk rotating device in which wind noise can be suppressed from low speed to high speed in rotation speed of an optical disk. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a disk object 7 supported on the same shaft as the rotary shaft of a clamper 12 holding the optical disk 1, an air stream caused by the rotating optical disk 1 is caught by a projection part 8 and a peak part 13 provided at the disk object 7, speed difference of the air inside the disk device 100 and the air stream surrounding the optical disk 1 can be reduced stepwise by following-rotation of the disk object 7, noise can be reduced.
