PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress resonance of an optical head without obstructing efficient mass productivity even when the optical head is made compact. SOLUTION: The optical head 1 has an objective lens drive 2 driving an objective lens 12, a housing 3 supporting the objective lens drive 2 and a cover 4 having an aperture part 4a for exposing the objective lens 12 and a yoke 14 positioned in the vicinity of the objective lens 12 in a state in which the objective lens drive 2 is supported by the housing 3.
